Rebecca’s Isle of Skye Scotland Portrait Session

Scotland is full of hidden gems of untold beauty and heather covering the mountains and green grass on the cliffs and a fresh wind that blows through your hair. I’ve been envisioning a shoot like this ever since I knew I was going to Scotland, and on the last day of our travels on the Isle of Skye, after a long and drenching hike, we pulled out a few of my favorite photos ever. Huge thank-you to Rebecca who nearly froze in her flowered dress, to Will for jumping in a few of these, and to God for creating the most mind-blowing beauty (in both Rebecca and Skye, haha). Absolutely delighted to share these with you.

Classy Farmhouse Wedding in Elverson, Pennsylvania

It has been a crazy several months full of travel and weddings, and Peter + Michelle’s beautiful Pennsylvania wedding was the best way to finish the busy summer off. I know both the bride and groom from Bible school, and have been blessed by their testimony of genuine, joyful love for Christ that has spilled over to each other and everyone else in their lives. Their vision as a couple is inspiring and convicting as they’re spending the first months of their marriage volunteering as teachers at a Christian academy in Honey Brook. I am super excited to see how God continues to lead them and use them for the advancement of His kingdom.

Huge thank you to Natalie Swansen for second shooting for me and capturing some quality photos!

The girls got ready at Michelle’s house – a beautiful cottage in Honey Brook. Literally everything about this house is picturesque and I could do an entire blog post on it!

Shooting details in natural light = literally one of my favorite things ever.

They had their first look out in the woods behind Michelle’s house, tucked behind big trees alongside a stream.

The ceremony was worshipful and joyful…

After the ceremony, the forecast called for rain but God was gracious to provide us with perfect clouds for photos! In love with these!

Leandra + Ethan | Charming Wildflower Wedding

It’s such a special day when a dear friend marries the love of her life.

What a perfect, worshipful day full of sunshine and laughter.

A few of my favorite things about the day…

– the worship music during the ceremony. Absolutely stunning, and performed by several of Ethan and Leandra’s dear friends. Totally set the tone for a meaningful ceremony.

– Leandra’s dress! …and it was handmade. What!?

– The flowers. Also done by the bride herself and her little cohort of girls. Incredible talent.

– The first look.

– Beautiful morning sunlight for photos. Doesn’t get any better than that.

– The first dance. Scroll down and you’ll know what I mean.
